Busy weekend

Mason and I have been very busy this weekend. We decided to clean out the garage and organize it so that way we could take some of the crap in our house and move it out there so peanut can have his own room without all our crap in it. that went very well however it was exhausting! We also decided we were going to move the guest bed from the room which will turn into peanuts room into our office. we moved the office completely around and took a bunch of stuff out. However, even though I am tired I feel good that things are starting to look how we plan for them to look by the time Peanut gets here. His room is pretty empty now, which is a good thing because now it can be filled with baby things :) I can't wait until he gets here. I'm hoping my body will decide to go back to normal (hahaha I know like that will ever happen) But I miss the days that I don't throw up or have a feeling of throwing up. I'm sure that it will all be worth it in the end.

Week 22

This is what they are saying about my pregnancy: At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

However, I feel that my baby is a little bit ahead of this because 2 weeks ago he weighed 15 oz. which is almost a pound... So maybe he is further along. Who knows. I have been doing ok. Lately I have been experiencing some dizziness. I thought it was due to not eating something at the right time but now it is starting to happen even shortly after I eat. I looked up some things on the internet and they said it could have to do with the circulation. I still might call the doctor to be sure.

Mason and I are very excited for Peanut. We have started cleaning out some things in the house so we can make way for him to be here! We can't wait.

My Carrot! - 21 weeks

I am 21 weeks along :) I hear that Peanut is the size of a carrot. This is what the website babycenter.com says about peanut. "Your baby -- currently the length of a carrot -- weighs about 3/4 of a pound. (Length: 10 1/2 inches, head to heel.)" However, since I went to the doctor last Tuesday and he said my baby weighed 15 oz at that time He might be a different vegetable.

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like he's practicing martial arts as his initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to his activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now.

So far I have been feeling ok... I have had a cold/cough for going on 4 weeks. I'm praying that goes away soon. My body seems to like to produce extra mucus! Can't tell you how much fun that is. I feel like I'm getting huge and there is still quite a ways to go. However, I'm very excited about our little baby boy inside and can't wait until he comes into the world. I put away some of his clothes and it just made me more excited! Anyone one have some good name ideas?

Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

Peanut is a boy!!!!

Today we went to get the ultra sound. We found out that everything is healthy with Peanut and he is a BOY! We are excited. He weighs about 1 pound. The doctor told us that he was measuring to where his due date would be May 11 rather than May 18th however, they don't change my due date because he could just be big. Doctor told us that April would be too early and June would be too late so we are going to be due in May... That is our due date ... just May.. Lol I don't really care I'm just excited everything is going well with him. We decided that we will be decorating his room in safari/jungle theme. :) Here is one of the videos they gave us today (at the bottom) as well as most of the pictures. I will try to get some more videos on here soon.

P.S. They made me drink 32 oz of water before I came into my appointment. I personally think that is just cruel and unusual punishment to make a pregnant lady drink that much water and not allow her to pee until after you are done with the ultrasound measurements lol. Oh well I guess it was all for Peanut!

Baby Update

Monday I went to the doctor where we get to hear the heartbeat again. It is so nice to get to hear that. It was around 150 beats. Our ultrasound is set for December 29th 2009. I can't wait. That will be the fun appointment. We can't wait to find out if peanut (that is what Mason and I call the baby) is a boy or girl. They tell me I have to drink 32 oz of water starting an hour and a half before the ultrasound. BUT I'm not allowed to go to the bathroom until after. How do they expect a pregnant lady to not go to the bathroom? I have to go all the time and I only drink about a 20 oz throughout the school day. lol
