Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

Peanut is a boy!!!!

Today we went to get the ultra sound. We found out that everything is healthy with Peanut and he is a BOY! We are excited. He weighs about 1 pound. The doctor told us that he was measuring to where his due date would be May 11 rather than May 18th however, they don't change my due date because he could just be big. Doctor told us that April would be too early and June would be too late so we are going to be due in May... That is our due date ... just May.. Lol I don't really care I'm just excited everything is going well with him. We decided that we will be decorating his room in safari/jungle theme. :) Here is one of the videos they gave us today (at the bottom) as well as most of the pictures. I will try to get some more videos on here soon.

P.S. They made me drink 32 oz of water before I came into my appointment. I personally think that is just cruel and unusual punishment to make a pregnant lady drink that much water and not allow her to pee until after you are done with the ultrasound measurements lol. Oh well I guess it was all for Peanut!

Baby Update

Monday I went to the doctor where we get to hear the heartbeat again. It is so nice to get to hear that. It was around 150 beats. Our ultrasound is set for December 29th 2009. I can't wait. That will be the fun appointment. We can't wait to find out if peanut (that is what Mason and I call the baby) is a boy or girl. They tell me I have to drink 32 oz of water starting an hour and a half before the ultrasound. BUT I'm not allowed to go to the bathroom until after. How do they expect a pregnant lady to not go to the bathroom? I have to go all the time and I only drink about a 20 oz throughout the school day. lol

Baby!

For those of you who do not know.. Mason & I are expecting our first child May 18, 2010. We are very excited! Yesterday we got to hear the heartbeat. It is the most amazing feeling to be laying there and hear a heartbeat of another living thing that is living inside of you. We can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. So far I have been very nauseous. I have actually been getting sick more lately which isn't much fun. I'm sure in the end it will all be worth it. :) I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything but I will try to stay ontop of it now so that way the world can stay up to date on baby post :)

Today is also Mason's birthday! Look for a post soon about the birthday celebrations!

Frustrated

I am quite frustrated. My computer decided to completely crash last night. I am at the Ball State Library right now because I had to take my computer to the icare corner to see if there is anything they can do. They are currently wiping everything off my computer and reinstalling the operating system. Hopefully this takes care of the problem. Bad things is two days ago I took pictures of my entire house to post on here of before and after pictures so I could update everyone and they are on my computer and I'm not sure they got backed up on my external hard drive before all this started. Good thing is... those pictures can be taken again... it isn't like they were wedding pictures or something. Ugh. I hope that it isn't a hardware problem where I will need to send it back to apple. ugh. :) I guess things could be worse.

Before & After - Bathroom (master bedroom)

Here is a picture of what our bathroom (the one off of our bedroom) looked like when we first moved in our house. One thing you can't see is the ugly flooring. it had mauve colored roses. Ugh.

This is Brooke working on our new flooring. YAY. Looks a million times better!

Here is the finished product. What do you think?

Water fun

The other day Mason as picking things in the garden and I decided I need to water it. In the process I accidentally sprayed Mason with the hose on the leg and then things got crazy. We decided to play in the sprinkler like kids. It was so much fun! Here are some pictures....

I just found out that I can update my blog via text.... wow this technology driven world is crazy!

This Past Weekend

Brooke came down this weekend and we put carpet in the sunroom. It looks so much better in there we still need to put a boarder up so that way it will cover the ugly glue spots left by the people who lived there before. It is so much nicer in there. She also helped up make the trees in the front yard beautiful. We got some stone things and put around them and put down mulch. They look 100% better.

Then on Sunday I was very productive. I painted the closet and then hung up pegboard in the garage, hung a shelf in the laundry room, and went to the old house to clean it up so we can be free of that house. Mason and I hung shelves in the office so we have a place for all our books. It looks really good. Now the office isn't stuffed with boxes. :) Hurray for getting things done.

The Weekend

The weekend started off with Mason and me having Friday off. We spent a lot of the day relaxing and just enjoying the day. In the morning I had an interview with JCPenney and got hired on the same day! Very exciting I think. Not the best job in the world, but with these economic times I will take what I can get until I get a teaching job. On Saturday we got up really early to get the outside of our house to look nice. We went to Lowes to pick up a lot of supplies, including our new lawnmower, hedge trimmer and much more! Then we went to Rural King to pick up fruit trees to put in our backyard. We are going to have green apple, peach and red apple trees. We also got blueberry and raspberry bushes to add to our garden. Later in the afternoon we went over to my parent's house to have Easter dinner with them, Aaron, Amy and the kids. Today, we went to church with dad and went to Grandma and Grandpa Conner's house to have an Easter meal with them. The rest of the day today Mason spent getting lesson plans around and I got a few things done around the house. Still things to get done around the house but we figure that might take a little longer than expected to accomplish. Happy Easter!

Graduation & Garden

I have 32 days until graduation. I'm very excited about that. However, this is the time of year where everything gets crazy. I have lesson plans due every day it seems like and I also have some group project to work on every other free moment. I just have to keep reminding myself that I only have 32 days.

Mason and I worked on trying to get the garden ready this past weekend. The spot that we are going to be putting the garden is the same place where the previous owner had a swimming pool. They took the pool but left tons of small rocks that we have to take out. Which it taking forever. However we got a lot done before the rain came. We should be able to finish it this coming weekend.

Living Room

These are the curtains that my grandma let us use to hang up in the living room. It is nice to have something covering the window. That way not everyone and their brother can look into our house. We haven't done anything to the actual room yet. This is one of the stupid rooms that has wall paper on the walls that we plan to take off this summer. Why do people put paper on the walls? To cause people head aches later?

Here is how we have the rest of the living room set up. Not amazing but it is alright. :)

Update

So things have been continued to be busy. I was hoping to be able to update this daily but apparently that just can't happen. It reminds me of every year since I was about 10 on New Years I made the resolution that I would keep a journal and the longest I think that has lasted without me missing a day was about 4-5 days. Pathetic! Oh well. I have decided that I'm not going to give up and I will continue to post.... Is my life really interesting enough to post something every single day? lol probably not. Mason and I have continued to work on the house. We have all the rooms painted with the exception of the dinning room/hallway, and living room. We haven't completely decided what we want to do in the dining room so therefore we can't decided what to do in the hallway because it is kinda connected to the dining room. We have some wallpaper in the living room that will need to come down but we won't work on that until this summer. So for now our house is coming together besides those minor things. I'm excited. There is still so much to unpack. Life is good though. I'm so happy with Mason. I'm glad we finally have our own house! :) Pictures coming soon... Promise!

Jack Jack

So yesterday I got to watch Jack. He was sick and I didn't have class so it all worked out. He was a blast. I got to here the phrase "where did it go" all day long. he cracks me up. We decided to take some pictures to pass the time... here they are.

All that hard work at taking pictures tuckered him out. Nap time.

It has been a while

Sorry it has been so long since I have put up a post. Last Saturday was the Flea Market. My dad decided that he was going to help us move so we took the help on Saturday after being at the flea market from 6-5 we decided to move furniture to our new house. I was thinking ok so we will just move the couches and call it a night. We were all tired after all, however we ended up moving the bed and the dresser as well plus some boxes. That was our first night staying in the house. It was very different. I didn't really feel like I was at 'home'. Sunday we moved the rest of our stuff but didn't have a chance to unpack it all. Now our house is a mess. This past week I had spring break but ended up working in Indianapolis most of the week so I didn't really have a chance to unpack. Needless to say. I still have a messy house. But on the possitive side. We are moved into our house :)
Here are a few new pictures:This is Mason and Sammy. Sammy is on his way to see the new house for the first time.
Sammy had to check out every square inch of the house.
This is the corner in the spare bedroom. Here is the pillow that inspired the painting in the room. it is bold but we like it.Here is a picture of the amazing floor that Brooke put in! Thanks Brooke.

Yesterday

So I don't have new pictures today like I had hoped. We went over to the house yesterday and touched up all the paint in the master bedroom. Sammy our dog got to to see the house yesterday. I think he likes it. We also moved the spare bed and the dresser that goes with that bedroom suite. Which it's nice to get some furniture in the house. This weekend we have the Country Time Flea Market at the Muncie Fair Grounds. So that kinda takes out all of Saturday and part of Friday for setting up. So I don't see a lot of work getting done on the house this weekend. Maybe we will find some motivation on Sunday. We will see. I do have spring break next week. Which I'm looking forward to. Most of it will be spend on the house :). I just want it to be done. However, all things come in time right?

House on Redwood

Someone seems interested in renting the house on Redwood! This would be great because then we can just pay one mortgage payment instead of rent and mortgage for the month of April! I'm very excited about this. The guy has already looked at the duplex and now wants to contact our landlord. I'm praying that everything goes well!

"The Fulton"

I realize that our blog says 'thefulton' instead of The Fultons. This is because someone with the last name of Fulton took the title The Fulton's and they haven't even updated their blog since 2004. Ugh. So it isn't because I forgot the S or the fact that I don't understand the English language. It is because that name was already taken. I just wanted to make that clear.

Our New House

On February 13, 2009 Mason and I bought a new house! It is very exciting. It needs a little work but we got a good deal on it. Now it is time to repair.

This is our new refrigerator we just got for our kitchen. (not the best picture quality, taken with a camera phone) I'm excited because now we have all the appliances we need! We painted the kitchen a light yellow which really brightens it up. I can't wait to get things done and get moved into my new house!

This is the smallest of the 3 bathrooms in the house. Josh and Brooke (Mason's sister and brother-in-law) came down to help us make some repairs for the house. Brooke put in this new flooring. She did an awesome job. It looks tons better than the flooring with the roses that was there before! The first picture is a before.. the next one it s 'during' I will post an 'after picture' soon. We haven't finished painting yet all we have is primer on the walls.

At the end of our hallway there was just a dead end that served no purpose so Josh build us a closet to put towels and such in. I will post the finish project soon.

This is Mason working hard at getting the painting done for the washer and dryer room! Good job Mason!
