Here I go again.

Wow I'm really bad at this. I have realized that every time I start to do something I think is a really good idea I end up failing in about a week. Why is this? Maybe I get busy. Maybe it isn't a real priority to me. Maybe I set too high of expectations on myself expecting something to be done daily and then the first time I miss a day I give up. I would like to change this about myself. So here I am... Almost a year later blogging again. Allison's birthday will be in 2 days and I believe my last post on here was that she was born. FAIL. lol

So here I go again... I will try to do this again and post more frequently because I really do enjoy doing this sort of thing. Just trying to find the time is hard.  :)

Allison is here!

Ok here I am again... I am horrible at remembering to post on this blog but I got to thinking... I am now home most days I could actually keep this up... We will see how far that takes me.

Allison Naomi Fulton is now here (3 weeks and 1 day ago)
She was born on April 10, 2012
She weighed 7 lbs and 12 oz and was 20.5 inches long.
She was born at 8:54 am by c section.

When we went to the doctor 3 days after she was born they said she was only 19 inches long and she was 7 lbs 4 oz. I believe the weight because most newborns that are breastfed babies lose weight however losing an inch an a half seems a bit strange to me. I think someone didn't measure along the way correctly (My thoughts are at birth)

Oh well, she is a healthy little girl.

We are trying with this child not to use a passy (fingers crossed) and it is going well so far. Logan is still attached to his when it is nap time or time to go to bed and I'm finding it very difficult to break him of it so I"m thinking if Allison never starts using one... then we will be good to go!

Our days:
Allison spend our days taking it easy. On Monday's and Wednesday's Logan goes to Brenda's house (a wonderful lady who lives in our neighborhood) and plays with other children there and Allison and I rest. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday we either stay home or go over to Grandma Conner's house or Meemaw as Logan likes to call her so she can help out with the kids and get her Grandma fill.
Here is Allison with her first piece of mail.. her SS card.

Update 2012

So I created this blog thinking I would update it frequently but as you can see I failed at that. I have decided that I will update and give you a brief summary of what is going on in our life.

Mason -
Mason has been accepted to Ball State University's graduate program in Education Psychology. He started his first online class on January 9, 2012 and already got an A on his first test! He is going to totally rock this program. He loves psychology so I am so excited for him to work toward his graduate degree.

Logan-
Logan has grown sooo much. He will be 20 months old on January 23, 2012. He is such a great little guy. His personality is really starting to come out. He is a very loving and caring guy. He loves Thomas the train and just got a new train with a track from his Grandpa Fulton for Christmas and is in love with it. He loves his choo choos. Every time he hears a train go by our house his eyes light up and he says CHOO CHOO! He runs to the window and watches as it goes by and after it is gone he says... bye bye choo choo.. traaain. It is cute! He loves to give out kisses. When Chloe (his cousin) came down for Thanksgiving he decided to share lots of love with her... I don't think she cared too much but the thought was there. :)

Me (Becky) -
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with our second child. Pregnancy has seemed to be a little better this time around... at least the 2nd trimester has been. The ultrasound technician said that she is 80% sure that we are having a baby girl. She never gives a higher percentage than 80% so we are banking on it. :) We are very excited to have a baby girl and another addition to our family.

Well there is a small update on our family. Hopefully I can keep this up to date better than I have in the past!

Logan's Birthday Party

I realize it is still December and Logan's birthday isn't until May but I'm just excited that I have decided on his 1st birthday party theme.. It is going to be Dinosaur Train! See I couldn't decide between dinosaurs or trains so I picked Dinosaur Train. He likes to watch the show so this all works out!

For those of you who have no clue what I'm taking about here is a link to the website!

Now I can start collecting things for the party and I don't have to wait till the last min!

Logan's Poop

Check out the title... you may not want to read this if the title doesn't sound very appealing to you. However, it could be a great attention getter title and you can't seem to help yourself from reading on. You have now been forewarned.

Logan never ceases to amaze me. I have noticed ever since he has been eating more solid foods the poop is harder to come out. It take more grunting. Which can be rather amusing at times. Logan only wants to get things started and waits until you go to change his diaper and then decides to finish things up. He will poop just a little bit and I have gone to change the diaper and out comes about another foot. NO JOKE. Where does this kid store it all? Then, when I think there can't possibly be room for any more out comes another 6-8 inches. (no I have not actually gotten out the ruler to measure but these measurements are pretty right on, give or take an inch) In the whole process he proceeds to pee all over himself. I try to keep him covered but since he doesn't like to poop with a diaper right against his but it makes it hard to cover the rest of him. He tends to kick his legs A LOT. I have joked with people that I am going to start hanging him over the toilet every time he goes and have a potty trained 5 month old.

THIS IS JUST PURE CRAZINESS!

Fun with Leaves

Logan laying in the leaves.

Logan was very curious about the leaves. Until he face planted into them and then he wasn't as interested in them.

Mason was teaching Logan what a leaf was.

Covered Bridge Festival

Today we went to a covered bridge festival in Rockville, Indiana. It was so hot outside. I mean it is 10-10-10 and it was 86 degrees outside. Does anyone else see the issues with this. I am all for warm weather but I enjoy fall. I love the changing colors of the leaves and COOL temperatures. I'm afraid that it will go from hot to cold and I will never get the cool days. I guess I just need to be thankful that there isn't snow all over the ground. :)

Wow it has been a long time!

So I am finding that I am horrible at remembering to update this blog. I was planning on updating it every few days taking about all the cool and new things Logan has done but seeing how the last post was just pictures of Logan and his birth that didn't happen.

Logan is now so much fun. He loves laughing and playing with his daddy. Yesterday we took a walk to Aunt Tiffer's house to see her and Ellie. He enjoyed it. He got to wear his brand new puppy hat. (see picture)

(Don't mind the face he really likes it!)

Logan is also eating now and let me tell you that is an adventure. At 4 months (September 23) He had green beans for the first time. We had already been trying to feed him oatmeal for about 3 weeks before that in efforts to get him to sleep throughout the night. He seems to enjoy eating from a spoon. We haven't found a whole lot he hasn't liked as long as he is eating when he is in a good mood :)

To show you how much he has grown here are some pictures.

I can't believe how much my little man has grown. :)
